What the critics say: If you type ‘The Tamil Prince’ into google, you will be inundated with lovely reviews from all angles.
‘Firing out a menu of a similar standard to the likes of Gymkhana. In short, the Tamil Prince is just plain great’, says Grace Dent in the Guardian.
‘Worth all the hype it gets' remarks Kieran Ahuja of The Week.
4/5 stars from Jimi Famurewa of the Evening Standard.

What Eric Mustard says: So often when something is as universally hyped up as The Tamil Prince has been, it can be difficult not to get carried away with your expectations. You desperately try to remain calm and collected but in this instance, it was impossible to ignore the noise evidenced by the snapshot above of what the critics had to say and the never-ending list of standout dishes. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the critics were not wrong. A delightfully cosy venue by virtue of being an old pub, serving vibrant dishes packed with flavour. There are beaming smiles in the kitchen all around, presumably because they know that they achieved something near impossible which is to make everyone happy. Go here any time of day and any time of the week and you are guaranteed to be impressed.
